Why I refunded the N25m a man invested into my music – Waje (video)

Popular Nigerian songstress, waje‘ has reflected on the moment she had to refund the supposed money a man invested in her career.

According to her, after the man invested that amount of money when she released her 2012 hit song “I wish”, attempted to take control of her life and career.

From the fashion designers she patronized to the make up artists she hired, he wanted to be in charge of it all.

However, that didn’t go down well with her, so refunded his money.

“I carry the 25 million naira, returned it to them so that i can drink water and keep cup” the singer said.
