Mixed Reactions have been trailing the dethronement of Muhammad Sanusi II as the Emir of Kano. While some feel it’s bad, others are ecstatic about it.
However, reacting to the news, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo feels the dethronement is both good and bad.
The former presidents feel that the Sanusi’s removal is undeserving, however, the former Emir of Kano “paid the price”, he said.
Obasanjo In a personal letter signed by him said the dethronement is bad because it is underserved and a good thing because he, Sanusi, has ”paid the price.”
Obasanjo also prayed for the monarch, “that God should give him the fortitude and the courage to continue on the path that you have chosen for yourself.”
