Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele-Bello (Jennifa), has set social media abuzz following her return to Instagram.
This is her first post since her arrest and prosecution, and fans did not hide their excitement as they flooded the comment section of the post to pour their love
She shared a photo of herself and simply captioned it “Breathe”.
In less than 40 minutes of posting, the photo amassed over 73,000 likes from both fans and her industry colleagues.
Jennifa’s post comes barely 2 weeks after she stirred up social media with a video of her house party.
On April 4th, she threw a birthday party for her husband, JJC Skillz and went to share the video on SM.
The video led to several criticism online as many people criticized her for disobeying the ban on social gathering imposed by the Lagos state government to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Following the output of rage by some Nigerians, the actress apologised. But she was still arrested and prosecuted.
Her arrest and prosecution led to mixed reactions on SM as both celebrities and some fans felt she was not supposed to be prosecuted.
