British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua has a match at hand against Kubrat Pulev. The two-time unified heavyweight champion will face the Bulgarian fighter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 20 June.

Bulgarian Pulev, 38, is the mandatory IBF challenger to fight Anthony Joshua for the WBA, IBF and WBO titles.

Last year was a roller-coaster experience for AJ, having lost and reclaimed his title in a double fight against Andy Ruiz Jr.

After losing the first fight of his career, Joshua will be looking to reclaim the status he once held as one of the most feared boxers.

Pulev who has also lost just one fight in his career hopes to put in a fight to remember. “I am happy to have the opportunity to show the world how strong I really am,” Kubrat Pulev said.

Meanwhile, many fans around the world will be hoping to see Joshua win, as it will increase the chances of the world witnessing the much-anticipated unification match against Tyson Fury.

Clearly, Tyson Fury hasn’t been shy of expressing his desire to fight against AJ. In fact, he did something during his fight against Deontay Wilder that made people believe he had his mind on Joshua.

In other news, Deontay Wilder has triggered the rematch clause that will see him face Tyson Fury for the third time.
