Just as the January transfer window is about to close, Manchester United have wrapped up another signing.

You will recall that a few days ago, Man Utd signed a midfielder, Bruno Fernandez; just days after fans attacked chief Ed Woodward’s home.

In addition to the signing of Bruno, Man Utd have completed another signing this time, they have signed Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo.

Although the 30-year-old- striker is currently in China, he is expected to fly to the UK within the next few days.

Hopefully, this signing will help boost Man Utd’s forward as they are in dire need of a striker now.

The player who was in top form for his country’s team, Super Eagles of Nigeria had finished as the top scorer in the African cup of Nations.

The former Watford player made 99 appearances for Watford and scored 39 times for them before moving to the Chinese Super League.

While in China he had first played for Changchun Yatai and after two seasons he moved to Shanghai Shenhua

After his loan spell at Man Utd, he will be going back to Shanghai Shenhua, or wherever duty calls next.

In any case, according to reports by BBC, the loan deal contains no option to buy.
