Chelsea have finalised a deal to sign Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech.
Previously, the club released a statement that it had reached an agreement with Ajax; however, the deal was subject to the player agreeing to personal terms.
From a recent Chelsea FC statement, the player has now reached an agreement, thereby sealing the £37million deal.
However, he will remain with Ajax until July 1, when he will then link up with his new teammates.
Meanwhile, Chelsea referred to the 26-year-old Morocco International as a ‘key target’ for the club during the January transfer window.
‘I am delighted and proud to have signed for such a huge club as Chelsea,’ Ziyech told the club website.‘
I am looking forward to next season and hope we can achieve great things together,’ he added.
