Nigerian singer Davido reached out to Cynthia Morgan after news of her depression and bankruptcy emerged. However, many people have criticized the singer for making the move on Twitter or not making it early enough.
Some people even went as far as describing his decision to help her as clout-chasing.
As for Funnybone, he stylishly hit out at Davido for not reaching out to her until her story emerged online.
“How come nobody asked after Cynthia Morgan all this years? Even the colleagues she had something with,” he wrote.
“Suddenly everybody is now shouting Cynthia call me call me, Las las we are all on our own o, God I dey your hand oo. Amen.”
Davido who noticed the message took to his profile to respond hinting that if she didn’t speak out, there was no way people would have known her predicament.
“Most important thing is that she has spoken and people are ready to help and she can be able to rewrite her steps and have another chance!
“THAT’S ALL THAT MATTERS !!”
