Popular Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, is trending for the wrong reason on Twitter. He reportedly held a concert in the Federal Capital Territory yesterday, with hundreds of persons in attendance.
Because of that, several people took to Twitter to slam the government for letting the organizers of the show carry on amid COVID-19 concerns.
Meanwhile, they also questioned how Naira Marley was able to find his way to the FCT bearing in mind the current interstate travel ban.
According to Daily Post, he attended the concert alonside former BBNaija Housemate, Kim Oprah.
The video currently circulating on Twitter shows the singer singing while several people danced happily, not minding the current global pandemic that has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives.
Indeed, this isn’t the first time Naira Marley is attracting controversy amid this pandemic. He was told to report at the police station after flouting Lagos lockdown to attend Funke Akindele’s husband’s birthday.
It remains to be seen how the authorities handles this recent misbehaviour from Naira Marley.
