A fire outbreak at Lokoja, the Kogi State capital on Friday night has destroyed a multi-million naira electronic shop, Peelinks.
Eyewitnesses told NaijaHomeBased that the store has close proximity to a Fire Service office in Lokoja; however, no service vehicles were at the scene of the incident.
The sad incident is coming two days after no fewer than 23 persons were burnt to death in a tanker explosion along the Felele/Lokoja/Abuja highway.
The fire which started at about 11:50 PM Friday left many residents watching helplessly as the building burned to ruins.
Some of them were heard shouting ‘Fire Service no get use’.

Peelinks which is located along Muritala Muhammed way, close to GT Bank Junction, Lokoja is one of the biggest electronics stores in Lokoja. It is owned by one business mogul, Peter Onujeme.
