Nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh, appears not to buy the idea of easing the lockdown so early. Therefore, she has taken to her social account to advise her fans to ‘to extend their personal lockdown’ for at least one month more.
The actress cited the spanish flu pandemic to warn people against becoming complacent or going back to their normal activities like nothing is happening.
Indeed, the second wave of the Spanish flu wrecked a lot of damage, as many people rushed back to their normal activities with reckless abandon, according to history.com.
Clearly, Tonto Dikeh doesn’t want her followers to follow in that footstep.

Her post is coming following a dramatic increase in the number of daily cases. Yesterday, the NCDC announced 195 new cases of the novel coronavirus.
Sadly, the government plans on easing the lockdown on May 4th due to the economic challenges facing a vast majority of Nigerians.
