The Hausa people of Nigeria also make up more than 20 percent of the entire population of Borno, Bauchi, Gombe, Taraba, Adamawa, Jigawa, Kebi, Plateau, Yobe, Nasarawa and Niger states.
To put it differently, the Hausas dominate the northwestern parts of Nigeria while also forming fractions of the North-central and Northeastern states.

The size of Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto & Zamfara States put together is approximately 216,029 km2.
If we are to combine the figure above ones located in other states, then, the total size of the entire Hausaland will stand above 300,000 km2.
This means that Hausaland is bigger than countries like Ghana (238,540 km2), Romania (238,391 km2), Tunisia (163,610 km2) and hosts of others.
