Manchester United won today’s game against Watford to climb to fifth position on the EPL table. With that result, they have now won two matches in a row in the English Premier League.

Also, the Manchester side extended their unbeaten run to six matches in all competitions this season.

The Red Devils hosted Watford today, 23rd of February, and showed glimpses of the highly successful Alex Ferguson’s team of 10 years ago.

New signing Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring sheet with a sublime penalty kick in the 42nd minutes, while Martial and Greenwood’s strike in the 58th and 75th minutes respectively sealed it up for Ole’s side. Bruno Fernandez provided the assist for Mason Greenwood’s goal and clearly dictated the game.

With the three points earned today, Man Utd now sit in the fifth position 3 points behind fourth-place Chelsea.

Before the game commenced, Manchester United held a minute silence in memory of the former United goalkeeper, Harry Gregg, who passed away last week aged 87.
