Popular event planner and wife of the founder and pastor of Trinity House church Ibidun Itua-Ighodalo has passed on.
According to BBC News, she died in the early hours of Sunday in her hotel room, in Port-Harcourt.
The former beauty queen was just 40 when she died. Meanwhile, we have yet to ascertain the real cause of her death.
“The Ighodalo and Olaleye Ajayi families are deeply saddened to announce the sudden loss of our beloved wife and daughter Mrs Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo who passed away in the early hours of today,” a representative of the family, Asue Ighodalo said in a statement.
“As you will understand, this is a difficult time for our families and we will appreciate some privacy during this time. All information of burial proceedings will be provided in due course.”
Trinity House also posted a picture of burning candle on their Facebook page, apparently to mourn her death.
Several Nigerians have taken to Twitter to mourn her death. Among them was the popular Nigerian accountant, Oby Ezekwesili.
“Life! Ibidun Ighodalo? Just gone ……. like a candle in the wind. Too much of a heartbreaking news. May God comfort our very dear Pastor Ituah and rest of family in the way that only He can in Jesus name,” she wrote.
