Nigeria’s fast-rising star, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has picked singer, Burna Boy over Wizkid and Naira Marley. Of course, he gave his reasons.
The young singer made this known in an interview on the ‘Noisy Questionaire of Life’ which he shared on the popular photo-sharing app today, the 22nd of June.
Rema who chose his fellow 2020 BET Award nominee over the others, said he connects more with Burna Boy and loves how he dealt with his battles online.
According to Rema, the way Burna Boy deals with his battles inspires him. He further stated that he always listens to Burna boy ‘from days back’.
“I connect more with Burna Boy and I love his story and I listen to Burna from days back,” he said.
The singer also picked Instagram over other social media handles like Twitter and Tiktok. He said his career kicked off after he was discovered on Instagram.
“That was where I was discovered. I posted a freestyle on Instagram and it went on from there,” he said.
The 20-year-old went on to answer several other interesting questions during the interview.
