The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA has confirmed the death of two men in the helicopter crash that occurred at the Opebi area of Ikeja, Lagos State.
The crash had occured in the early hours of Friday, 28th of August, 2020.
According to a statement released by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the helicopter which is a Bell Helicopter 206B3, belonged to Quorum Aviation Ltd.
“On the arrival of the Agency’s combined Response Team, led by its DG/CEO, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu at the scene, it was observed that there was an helicopter crash.
“Further investigation gathered revealed that a Bell Helicopter 206B3 belonging to Quorum Aviation Ltd crashed at 12 pm.
“The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA has activated its resources to the helicopter crash at 16A Salvation Opebi Road, today, Friday, 28th August 2020.
‘An adult male was rescued and taken to LASUTH for further treatment. While two adult male were confirmed dead.” the statement read.
