A student of the University of Benin, Edo State has been raped and killed at a Redeemed Christian Church of God church in Edo State.
According to the reports, the departed, Uwaila Omozuwa, was a Uniben undergraduate; a 100l Microbiology student.
She was said to have gone to the church to read before she was attacked with a fire extinguisher and raped.
Thereafter, died at the University of Benin teaching hospital (UBTH), Edo state on Saturday midnight.
According to a Twitter user who posted it first, her name is Uwa and she just gained admission into Uniben.
“Sheddi_Young wrote, “Her name is Uwa. She just gained admission into Uniben, she was 22.
“What was her crime? She went to study in a church where she thought was d safest, & right there, she was brutalized, raped & killed.
“Her murderer still roam d streets. For how will this continue? he asked.
