The central bank of Nigeria is the apex monetary authority of Nigeria that was established by the CBN Act of 1958. It has locations at virtually all the states in Nigeria. However, it’s headquarters is located in the capital, Abuja.

The headquarters of the Central Bank of Nigeria is located at Plot 33, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Way, Central Business District, Cadastral Zone, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria.

Visiting the CBN Head office in Abuja

If you’re interested in paying a visit to the head office of the Central Bank of Nigeria, bear it in mind that it is open from Mondays through Fridays. That is, they do not open for business on Saturdays and Sundays.

Also, they are open from 8 am to 4 pm daily.

As expected, security there is tight, so you must have a genuine reason for visiting before you’ll be allowed in. Aside from having a genuine reason for visiting, there are several other security measures in place, to which you must adhere to.

For instance, a Google review claims that people are not allowed to take pictures within the premises. For now, we have yet to confirm that.
