Popular Nigerian writer, Reno Omokri, has taken to his page to opine about what a man owes his or her girlfriend.
According to the popular writer, men shouldn’t feel obligated to take care of their girlfriend. Instead, if they should channel the same energy in helping their parents.

“The only duty you owe your girlfriend is courtesy. You don’t owe her maintenance, or footing her bills. Emancipate yourself from that slavery. If you want to look after a woman, look after your mother!” he wrote.
Reno Omokri who is a former aide to then-president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, is popular for sharing several opinion-based remarks on Twitter everyday.
His regular post which he refers to as Reno Nuggets has seen him amass a fan base that is running towards N1 million.
Recently, he shared a post in which he accused the Nigerian movie industry of conditioning the world to take all Nigerians as fetish juju people.
