With the sudden surge in the cases of the novel coronavirus across the world, many countries are imposing travel ban restricting travellers from entering.
However, The government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is not thinking of placing any travel ban currently.
The minister of Health revealed this while addressing foreign diplomats of the measures the Nigerian Government has put in place to curtail the spread of the disease.
According to the minister, the country is not considering banning any country from travelling into Nigeria over fears of the virus.
The Nations reported him as saying the country has not reached the point of banning large gathering.
Moreover, he noted that the country, Nigeria is guided by the World Health Organisation(WHO) guideline.
Dr Osagie had also disclosed that the Italian man who was the first person to be affected by the case in Nigeria will soon be discharged.
