Nigerian award-winning actress, Halima Abubakar, has been called out by an American mom for ‘stealing’ her baby photo to illustrate her newborn.
Just two days back, news emerged that Halima Abubakar gave birth to a new baby boy. She shared a picture many people might have thought was the baby’s hand on her page.
The picture attracted a lot of positive comments and likes from her fans.
However, it turns out that the baby hand she uploaded belongs to an American mom who has now dragged her for that.
The irate woman first of all took to her Instagram story to write, “I don’t know. I just don’t understand why?,” sharing a picture of Halima’s post
“So I guess we are now famous in another country,” She wrote on her second story.
She went on to write that she’ll not edit, delete or censor her page because of the simple madness of others.
Finally, she shared screenshots of her chat with Halima Abubakar, during which the actress apologised for using the baby photo on her page and promised to remove it.
It’s not clear why the actress didn’t just grab her own phone and take a snap of her own baby’s hand at least. Even if she doesn’t want to show us his face.
