Assistant director of administration at the State House, Laetitia Dagan, has been murdered.
The murder reportedly took place at her Abuja residence. Confirming the report of her death, the presidency released a statement on Tuesday, 18th of February, 2020.
Deputy director of information at the State House, Attah Esa, disclosed that the deceased was killed around 11 pm on Monday.
According to Jalal Arabi, the Permanent Secretary, State House Abuja, the deceased was in her office till 8 pm on the day of her murder.
“She was a dedicated, hard-working officer, and we all feel pained by her dastardly and untimely death.” He said.
47-year Dagan from Plateau State was murdered in her apartment in Galadimawa by unknown persons.
Describing the loss Alabi said its a painful loss both to her immediate family and the State House in its entirety.
In addition to that, he sent his condolence message to the bereaved family.
Arabi, however, expressed hope that “the Police will fish out the killers of Laetitia and the law will take its course.”
