Popular Nigerian actress, Adesua Etomi, has revealed that she and her actor cum singer husband Banky W have been self-isolating ever since they returned from AMVCA.
Recall that several rumours emerged claiming that all the actors who attended AMVCA had been exposed to the deadly covid-19. However, it took the government nearly one week to confirm that report.
Earlier today, the Lagos State government finally released a message urging the people who attended AMVCA to self-isolate because someone who attended the popular award show tested positive.
Clearly, this news must have propelled Adesua Etomi-Wellington to respond the way she has done.
“To all of us who attended the AMVCA – please let’s stay indoors,” she wrote. “I’m begging you.
“Let’s be responsible. Edakun (please). Bubba and I have been indoors for a few days now but it’s imperative that we ALL adhere to the call to self-isolate.
“Let’s not unknowingly put others at risk,” she added.
Currently, Nigeria has confirmed 42 cases of coronavirus, most of which have been in Nigeria’s most populous city Lagos.
