Reports reaching us confirm that there has been an explosion in the city of Lagos. For now, it is not certain how many communities were affected. However, in one of the videos shared by an eye witness, Abule Ado is among the communities affected.
Meanwhile, the Federal Fire Service official website has confirmed the explosion and urged people to ‘steer clear’ of the area.
“We are in touch with our men in Fire Stations around Badagry and Festac, we are trying to gather more information as regards the reported explosion in Lagos State, Nigeria. We are on it, the Federal Fire Service wrote.
“Our men are on ground. steer clear of the area. Be safe out there, Safety is not negotiable,” the added.
