President Muhammadu Buhari will be addressing Nigerians today, Monday, 18th May, 2020.
This will be his fourth address to the nation following the inception of COVID-19 in the country.
This address is coming just after the first phase of the gradual easing of the COVID-19 lockdown wraps up..
According to ChannelsTV, Aliyu Sani, the national coordinator of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 revealed this.
Mr Aliyu said this when he appeared on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics while responding to questions on the PTF’s next line of action.
As to whether the PTF is thinking of taking a different approach; because many Nigerians have been disobeying directives for the lockdown to be eased.
The task force coordinator noted that the President is the only one who can rule on whether the country goes ahead with the second phase of lockdown ease, or not.
According to him, the task force has been studying and observing quite strictly.
Emphasising that there are some concerns in terms of the implementation.
