Award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has gotten a platinum plaque for featuring in “own it”.
Stormzy’s “Own it” also features Ed Shereen and has since turned out to be a global hit.
The November 2019 song projected to the no 1 spot on the UK charts and has attracted over 600k sales worldwide.
Within its short span of release, it has also attracted over 27 million views on the world’s most popular streaming platform, Youtube.
The self-acclaimed African Giant, took to social media to Twitter to show off the platinum plaque Stormzy gave him.
Recall that Burna Boy lost out in the Best International Act category to American rapper, Tyler The Creator at the 40th edition of the BRIT awards 2020.
A video has since emerged which shows Stormzy handing over the Platinum plaque to Burna Boy.
