However, Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu, Bashir Ahmad, asked if he really meant that Kano is a cage and not just the emir’s throne.

“The entire Kano not the throne as a cage? Maybe I don’t understand the message,” he wrote.

Thereafter, Mustapha Bulama replied saying, “Yes, the entire Kano for SLS and Ganduje as well”.

However, it didn’t go down well with Bashir Ahmad, who subsequently replied saying that Kano is bigger than the governor and the emir.

Spokesperson to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State Salihu Yakasai also reacted to the cartoon. He described it as a mockery and insult to the entire people of Kano.
