In this publication, you’ll discover all the compulsory subjects for Art Students in WAEC.
We previously published the list of all art subjects for students in Nigerian Senior Secondary Schools. This time around, we are leaving out many of those subjects to provide an accurate list of just the ones you must register for in WAEC.
The West African Examination Council (WAEC) is responsible for conducting the largest Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
Many among the interested candidates are Art students and, as such, must sit for certain compulsory subjects, along with other random options.
List of the compulsory subjects for Art students in WAEC:
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Civic Education
- Literature-in-English, History or Geography (at least one among the three).
- Agricultural Science or at least one vocational subject.
Make sure you register for all of those compulsory subjects and, thereafter, choose from the list below.

Choose any of the optional subjects to complement the core ones above. Choices most times depend on the availability of teachers and the student’s intended course of study at an advanced level.
