COVID-19: Outrage as Lagos shares a loaf of bread, 3kg rice, others as palliative

A resident of Oke Odo LCDA of Lagos State has taken to social media to cry out after he received one 3kg bag of rice and a loaf of bread as covid-19 palliative.

“So we received a loaf of bread and one 3kg bag of rice as palliative package for about 200 residents of Sakiru Ibrahim estate, Ile-Iwe, Agbado Oke Odo LCDA,” Adiatu Afeez wrote, clearly expressing his shock.

Popular Human Rights activist then responded to the tweet in a rather sarcastic manner.

“Now the problem is to find volunteers good in counting to enumerate the grains so as to know how many precisely each resident will get and for the bread, a simulation of the servicing of the Eucharist/Sacrament can be followed where residents social distance themselves on a line,” he wrote.
