Federal University of Technology, Minna, commonly known as FUTMinna, is one of the most popular Universities of Technology in Nigeria.
Every year, FUTMinna receives thousands of JAMB UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applicants interested in studying any of the over forty (40) NUC accredited departments.
And after meeting up with the cutoff mark for JAMB and Post UTME, the next thing would be to keep track of your admission status online.

How to Check FUTMinna Admission list:
On FUTMinna official website:
- To check your admission status on FUTMinna official website, visit https://eportal.futminna.edu.ng/adms/ on your phone or computer.
- Enter your Jamb registration and one of your names in their appropriate spaces.
- Click on “Submit” and wait for the network to generate your admission status.
If FUTMinna has offered you admission, you will receive a congratulatory message, and an information on how to print out your admission letter and the date you must report in school.
On JAMB CAPS:
- To check your FUTMinna admission status on JAMB CAPS, visit http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/ using either your phone or desktop browser.
- Enter your JAMB username and password to login to your account.
- Click on ‘Check UTME / DE Admission Status’.
- Select your Exam year and Enter your JAMB registration number.
- Lastly, click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
After completing the steps above, you’ll receive a message indicating whether you have been offered provisional admission or not.
What to do after FUTMinna offers you admission
First and foremost, you must upload your O’level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal and accept the offer of admission. Or, if you don’t want the admission, all you have to do is click on reject or ignore.
Failing to provide any response within a certain period of time will automatically indicate that you don’t want the admission.
After accepting the admission on JAMB portal, you must print out the admission letter, and you’ll need to carry it along with you to the place of physical screening.
I can’t find my name in the list, what should I do?
FUTMinna releases admission list in batches. In other words, there’s 1st, 2nd, VC list and occasionally other supplementary list.
Just keep checking on a regular basis whenever you hear that a new list is out.
We can’t give you specific dates when all the list would be out; however, we can say for a fact that the official website announces it on the homepage whenever a new admission list is out.
If FUTMinna has only released the first list and your name isn’t in it, we advise you wait patiently until every other list is released.
