Popular reality TV star, Mercy Eke, has eulogised the Principal who lost her life after saving the children that were trapped at the explosion site.
“Not all heroes wear capes,” she wrote. “Reverend Sister Henrietta Alokha (sacrificed her life to save school children) may there be jubilation in heaven for the arrival of Gods angel and to the families that lost love ones yesterday.
“May God give you the strength to bear such great loss,” she added.
The late principal died as a result of the gas explosion that happened in Lagos yesterday, leaving several people dead and houses destroyed.
Her school, Bethlehem Girls College, is among the worst-hit location, with several students trapped under the rubbles. According to eyewitness reports, she helped rescue the students that were trapped before the roof crashed and killed her inside the building.
