This guide explains how to add family and friends numbers on Glo Infinito and Glo GBam tariff plans.
Globacom allows its customers to add family and friends numbers, after which they’ll be able to call those numbers at subsidized rates.
However, each of the tariff plans listed above has certain limitations as to the total number of FnFs you can add. Also, the call rates on both plans vary slightly.
We’ll explain the maximum number of F&F and call rate for both tariffs.
Note: for now we can confirm that Infinito and GBam are the only Glo tariff plans that allow customers to add FnF numbers. So, to enjoy this feature you must migrate to anyone of them.
As for people looking to add FnF on Bounce and Yakata tariffs, the numbers will be added; however, we have not observed any discount in call rates.

How to Add Family & Friends on Glo
- Dial *101*1*phone number#. For instance, if you want to add 08012345678, then dial *101*1*08012345678#.
- Dial “1” to confirm when the network prompts you to do so.
- Repeat the process till you’ve added all the numbers you want to include.
How “Family and Friends” works on each Tariff
Glo GBam
GBam allows up to 5 F&F numbers. First-time registration of those 5 numbers is free. But modifying or deleting any of those F&F numbers will come at a cost of 50 naira. The call rate on those 5 special Glo numbers is 9K/s (9 kobo per second).
Glo Infinito
Subscribers to Glo Infinito can add up to 10 FnF numbers, and call them at the rate of 11k/s.
Adding of those numbers are free of charge; however, modifying or deleting any of them will attract a fee of 50 naira only.
