Nigerian singer, Davido has been trending for so many reasons this past couple of days. Recently, several people started the trend of calling him Odogwu. However, he says he prefers OBO instead.
Take note that Davido and Burna Boy are currently facing off and throwing thinly veiled digs at each other.
Incidentally, Burna Boy’s most recent song is “Odogwu”. And since its release, people started calling him Odogwu. Therefore, many people will justly assume calling Davido Odogwu is an attack at Burna Boy.
Moreover, Cubana Chiefpriest who started the trend clearly dissed Burna Boy before stating that Davido is the real Odogwu due to the number of people he has helped.
In a video that first circulated online, several people kept shouting ‘Odogwu’ in the background. In response, Davido laughed out loud, clearly enjoying the moment.
However, a few moments latter, he responded telling them to stop calling him Odogwu because he prefers OBO instead.
Just yesterday, Davido reprimanded his personal assistant Aloma DMW for threatening to deal with Burna Boy.
