Guardiola has refused to reckon that he’s the best manager in the world; an opinion that most football fans around the world have about him.

The tiki-taka maestro refuses to say he’s the best manager despite a huge collection of trophies to his name that speaks otherwise.

Guardiola has lifted 29 career trophies in total from his stints in Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.

In the 3 and half seasons he has spent in the EPL, he has won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup. This season, his team has again qualified for another league cup final.

But while speaking to newsmen, Pep opted to downplay his achievement by saying he is only lucky to have coached the best teams and players around the world.

I never felt like I am the best manager [in the world],” he says. “Even when I won six titles in a row and trebles. Never felt that.

“I won because I had extraordinary players at big clubs. The incredible managers don’t have these players. They don’t have these clubs,” he continued saying.

“I’m a good manager, but not the best. Give me a team not like Manchester City and I’m not going to win,” he added.
