The new band will take effect immediately to help mitigate against the potential spread of coronavirus.

So far, Nigeria has confirmed a total of 8 covid-19 cases, 7 of which in Lagos State. As such, stakeholders within the state are now putting measures in place to protect citizens.

The Nation quoted the Commissioner for Home Affairs, Prince Anofiu Elegushi, as revealing this after a meeting with religious leaders in the state at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre, Alausa on Wednesday.
