The deadly COVID-19 whose epicentre is Wuhan, China has continued to spread through countries across the globe.
Currently, there has been over two million recorded death across the world; resulting from the deadly virus.
On the 27th of February 2020, Nigeria confirmed its first COVID-19. The index case is an Italian who tested positive for the disease in Lagos.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported that as of 22nd of April, Nigeria has recorded over 600 active cases with about 25 deaths.
According to NCDC’s report, 26 states in the country, including the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, have been affected by the virus.
That is to say, as of the time this report was published, 11 states have not recorded any case of the coronavirus disease in Nigeria.
