Manchester United Football Club have taken to social media to announce the imminent signing of Bruno Fernandes.
The statement issued on its official Instagram page says, “Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached [an] agreement with Sporting Clube de Portugal for the transfer of Bruno Fernandes.
“The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms. A further announcement will be made in due course,” it added.
Manchester United were victorious over Manchester City at the Etihad by a lone goal; however, it wasn’t enough to see them progress into the next round of the tie having lost the first leg by 3 goals to 1 in their own yard.
You will recall that the home of Machester United’s chief executive, Ed Woodward was attacked yesterday by some fans who see everything wrong with the way Woodward is running the club.
Well, some would be forced to say that attack has been productive because, in less than a day after the attack, Man Utd are close to finalizing the signing of an important player just before the close of the January transfer window approaches.
Manchester United fans around the globe will most likely be hoping this potential signing instigates the much-needed turnaround in this season.
Bruno Fernandes has taken to Instagram to hint on the imminent transfer to Manchester United.
A young fan had earlier posted a photo of him and Bruno together with the caption: “Goodbye Bruno, good trip.”
A message to which Bruno Fernandes responded with his own post, saying: “I will not forget your little tears, whether or not you believe your tears and words moved me! I hope one day later I will be able to see you again.”
Meanwhile, report reaching us confirm that he has arrived at Manchester for his medicals.
