The Grammy awards that held recently saw Nigeria’s very own Burna Boy lose to Angelique Kidjo.
Although many people congratulated Angelique for her success, a lot still expressed disappointment that Burna Boy didn’t win the much-coveted award.
One of the persons who expressed disappointment the most was Naomi Campbell. According to her, the reason Burna Boy didn’t win the award was due to lack of education.
Now, Erigga believes a lot of Nigerian artistes were “very happy” Burna Boy didn’t win the Grammy.
He said, “Many Nigerian artistes were very happy Burna didn’t win the Grammy … e pain them say na Burna dem nominate.”
The rapper didn’t refer to anyone in particular. So, it’s hard to tell who exactly he’s referring to.
