Popular Nigerian entrepreneur, Mompha, paid a visit to social media influencer, Adeherself following her release from EFCC detention.
Both parties shared a video of the visit on their official Instagram handle and spoke fondly of each other.
Recall that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Adedamola Adewale Rukayat (a.k.a Adeherself) before the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos on a one-count charge of possession of fraudulent documents.
Prior to the arrangement, the EFFC released a statement on June 15, 2020, revealing it “arrested five alleged internet fraudsters, including one Adedamola Adewale, a self-acclaimed social media influencer, for their alleged involvement in internet-related fraud.”
Adeherself was on Wednesday granted N500,000 bail by an Ikeja Special Offences Court.
In a ruling, Justice Sherifat Solebo also ordered that Ms Adewale to provide two sureties with reliable means of income which would be verified by the court.
Adeherself is famous for her funny, sometimes family-centric skits on social media.
Similarly, Mompha faced charges of fraud but was subsequently cleared of any wrong doing.
