Mortuary Attendant Who Dig Up Corpse And Sells The Skull To Herbalists For ₦10,000 Arrested

A 27-Year-old man, Seun Falana has been arrested by police in Lagos state for allegedly digging up a corpse from where it had been buried and sold the skull to a herbalist, Olawale Shodolamu for ₦10,00.

Seun Falana is a staff of the Trinity Cemetery Ajegunle, Olawale Shodolamu.

According to the Spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana, the duo was picked up after one Dauda Tijani was arrested with a polythene bag containing a human skull.

Dauda who lives in Number 23 Omowunmi Street, Orege, Ajegunle, was arrested by a team of policemen from Area E Command, Festac while on routine stop and search patrol at Alakija Bus Stop along Lagos-Ibadan, Badagry expressway.

Dauda, when interrogated said it was the herbalist, Olawale who instructed him to pick up the skull from Falana.

After he was caught, he led the police to the herbalist who was also arrested.

The herbalist was also interrogated, and he claimed that he bought the human skull from Falana for ten thousand Naira only (₦10,000.00).

Olawale went on to tell the police that he normally grinds the human skull together with other substances to prepare herbs and charms for his customers.

Falana, the seller has also been arrested and he has confessed to digging out graves to remove human skulls to sell to herbalists.

The police say an investigation is ongoing and that the suspects will be charged to court soon.
