Popular Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile, has hinted at the state of his parents his parent in the past. Although not specifying, many would attribute it to financial difficulties.
The ‘Bolanle’ crooner took to Twitter to write a short post, saying his mother suffered a lot and his father suffered a lot – using Nigerian Pidgin English.
“My mama too suffer. My papa too suffer,” he wrote.
Hopefully, he’ll get to offer an interview soon to give us an insight into how exactly his parents suffered.
Meanwhile, their situation should be much better now at least, considering the amount of success and financial stability their son now enjoys.
