42-year-old Umaru Aliyu has opened up on his anguish following his wife’s decision to cut off his penis.
Her annoyance allegedly started ever since Aliyu took a second wife. The father of two who deals in veterinary medicine and animal drugs wanted to relocate to Jalingo where his second wife resides. However, his first wife, Haima Aiyu, took an exception to that.
Halima ended up severing her husband’s manhood in an apparent protest to all of the aforementioned controversies.
The visibly distraught Aliyu narrated his sad experience, stating that his wife has ruined his life.
“After I returned from work, I got water to take my bath and ate the food prepared by my wife before I slept. I was later awoken by sharp pain and I screamed,” Punch News quoted him as saying.
“My wife chopped off my ‘bura’ (penis). It was then neighbours were alerted. I can’t say if my food or water was laced with anything with the way I slept deeply.
“My wife has finished my life and it is unfortunate.”
Umar Aliyu was first taken to Federal Medical Centre in Taraba, to stop the bleeding and undergo surgery. However, due to lack of necessary equipment, FMC Taraba referred him to Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe State where he is currently receiving treatment.
Aliyu’s younger brother, meanwhile, solicited for help from philanthropists, saying they don’t have enough to settle the bills for the procedure and medicine.
