NCDC records 114 New COVID-19 cases, confirmed cases rise to 1095

Nigeria has recorded 114 new cases of the deadly coronavirus. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 1095.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control took to its official Twitter account to announce the increase in cases today, 24th April 2020.

According to the NCDC, 208 patients have been discharged while 32 deaths have been recorded so far.

It tweeted, “114 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported; 80 in Lagos, 21 in Gombe, 5 in FCT, 2 in Zamfara, 2 in Edo, 1 in Edo, 1 in Oyo, 1 in , 1 in Sokoto.

“As at 11:30 pm 24th April, there are 1095 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 208 Deaths: 32.
