The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, was out to the streets to monitor the state lockdown.
To that effect, many people have taken to social media to commend him for being at the forefront of the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
In the video now trending on social platforms, the governor was seen moving about with security men. He went from vehicle to vehicle confirming if the poople moving about had the necessary permit to do so.
As for those who were not with the right permit, he seized their vehicles and ordered them to be moved to the state isolation centre.
