An Uber driver took to twitter to narrate an incident involving a lady he drove and she demanded her change.
According to him, her transport fair was just 400 naira. However, when the lady gave him N500 he didn’t expect the lady to request for her N100 change.
And when the lady “insisted” he gave her N70 and some coin in order to frustrate her. Ultimately, the lady rejected the coins and promised to report him to Uber.
“I picked this rude rider 2day, her fare was just N400, she gave me N500 & was insisting on collecting her N100 change. Lol, I was ready for her. I gave her N70 in notes and N30 in coins. She turned the money down and said she will report me to Uber. Go ahead dear, Coins na money,” he said revelling at his exploits.
Meanwhile, the Uber driver took to Twitter to discuss his experience hoping to get support from people. However, he didn’t get the reception he anticipated.
Several people lashed out at him for having a sense of entitlement to the woman’s balance. Some asked him if he would have agreed to let the woman go if she had just N300.
