The Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Sam Adeyemi, has urged people in Nigeria to stay at home because the current figure of covid-19 cases is by far behind reality.

Sam Adeyemi thinks the current covid-19 cases reported by the NCDC is behind time.

According to him, the NCDC is like 1 to 2 weeks behind reality because of the strict guidelines involved in testing suspected patients.

“Please stay home now if you are in Nigeria, especially Lagos,” the popular pastor wrote.

“Don’t use announced figures to measure the spread of the virus. They’re 1 to 2 weeks behind reality because testing follows strict guidelines.

“This will pass, but we must limit the impact. Have faith and take cover,” he added.

Presently, Nigeria has confirmed just 42 cases of coronavirus. However, the figure could be by far higher, since many people suffering from the disease are currently asymptomatic and don’t even know that have the virus.

Nevertheless, they are threats to others as they can spread the deadly bug around unknowingly.
