Residents of a local community in Osun state were outraged after finding out that a woman tied up her son and left him in a sac for four days.
The furious locals were seen attacking the woman for the wicked act. However, she appeared to be unremorseful, as she continued to claim that the boy was possessed with evil spirits.
According to Vanguard, the incident took place at Fesojaye community, Owoade, along Ilesa road, Osun State.
In the video, the woman identified as Iya Ayo claimed that the boy had evils sports that made him steal.
“Why would Ayo be stealing from people, he has frustrated me, he is possessed by evil spirits. I am right to have treated him that way”, she said.
Meanwhile, the outraged locals were seen slapping her multiple times while she fought them off and maintained her stance.
According to the community leader, Alfa Shakiru Gbadegesin, a neighbour to the woman who was fumigating his surroundings heard the boys crying for help and engineered his rescue.
“We heard of the incident yesterday morning around 11:30 am, that Iya Ayo, tie Ayo hands and legs and throw him in a sack, two from his leg upward and one through his head and locked him up in a wardrobe since,” Vanguard quoted him as saying.
