A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to narrate how her uncle living in the United States of America got excess foodstuff and provisions from the United States Government as a relief package.
According to the lady identified as Bolaji Omosipe, her uncle, first of all, got relief packages from the school his children attend.
Furthermore, they offered to pay half of his electricity bills and rent for that month.
“My Uncle who resides in the USA just shared with me pictures of RELIEF PACKAGES he received from the state government,” she wrote.
“His refrigerators are piled up with last week’s RP and there’s nowhere to stock up the recent ones he received. I suggested he gave some out, but almost everybody around him have their homes stocked up too.
“That’s not all ooo. Two days ago, these were sent by the school his kids (my cousins) attend…The school also took responsibility to pay half their light bill and half their rent.
Meanwhile, some Nigerians felt disappointed that their nation cannot afford to bail them out in such a manner. Some people, however, questioned the veracity of her claims.
