Nigeria Police officers have reportedly stormed a branch of the Apostolic Faith Church in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Apparently, the church violated the strict lockdown imposed by the state government on social gatherings and worship centres.
Several states in Nigeria, including Ogun State, banned the gathering of more than 50 persons in any social or religious event.
An Instagram user Akpomedawaro Ike, shared footage of the incident along with the caption, “Police operatives attached to “Sagamu A Division” were captured on Sunday morning enforcing the shutdown order on churches and other social gatherings to curtail the spread of coronavirus.
