Nigerian singer, D’Banj, has challenged popular activist, Segun Awosanya, better known as Segalink, to say the truth concerning the rape allegation levelled against him.
Recall that after Seyitan Babatayo accused D’Banj of rape, he filed a petition which subsequently led to her ‘arrest’.
However, many people on social media tagged it an ‘abduction’, and that narrative has clearly not gone down well with D’Banj.
Taking to Twitter for the first time in a while, D’Banj urged Segalink to say the truth.
“The Same liars that Sold this story to look Good to their International NGOs to look like they are working. You know the truth and their Names @segalink, Call them out. Don’t chicken out. Say the truth.
He also took some time out to bash Guardian news for publishing the headline “Nigerian pop star allegedly abducts woman after she accuses him of rape.”
“And you @guardiannews @guardian I thought you knew better.”
