A woman has lost her entire family to the deadly coronavirus pandemic currently ravaging the world, an unfortunate event that happened within three days.
Sandy Brown from Michigan, has described her pain as an ‘indescribable grief ‘ having lost her husband, Freddie Lee Brown Jr. and son Freddie Lee Brown III in the space of three days.
According to Detriot News, Sandy’s 59-year-old husband fell sick in March, having symptoms like chills and muscle aches.
Freddie who has had a kidney transplant started to have trouble breathing and was admitted to Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Afterwards, Sandy’s Husband tested positive for COVID-19 and was placed on a ventilator.
However, a few days later, Sandy got a call that his lung collapsed and to rush to the hospital, where she learned that doctors were unable to save him.
According to reports, the next day, her 20-year-old son, Freddie III, who is asthmatic fell sick with a fever and a cough.
Sandy took him to the same hospital, although his health improved, he began struggling to breathe, the outlet reported.
Again the woman received another heartbreaking call from the hospital three days after her husband’s death, they asked her to hurry down to the hospital
On getting to the hospital, she was informed that her son had died from the virus related complication.
Sandy told the newspaper “In three days, I lost my husband and son to an ugly plague. I watched my son go from completely well and whole and happy to being gone in three days.”
